Thank you so much for supporting our students and our school by volunteering!

 

Criminal Record Check Information
Any adult wishing to volunteer their time with JLC students (e.g. field trip chaperone, coach, transport students, etc.) MUST first apply for a Criminal Records Check and be cleared through the Ministry of Justice.  This is free of charge for volunteers.  Please follow the procedure below:

1. CLICK HERE to visit the Criminal Record Check page (please read through the terms to make sure that you meet the requirments).


2. Enter the following code (unique to our school): EMNKH5ZU2H


3. Follow the instructions to complete the application


4. Check in with JL Crowe Administration two weeks after the application has been submitted to confirm that you have been cleared (the results of your records check is sent to the school administration).

 

ICBC Driver’s Abstract
Any adult wishing to be a volunteer driver (personal vehicle or Hawk Hauler) for curricular or extra curricular events must submit an ICBC driver’s abstract. This is a very quick process that can be completed within a few minutes of applying.

    Procedure:

  1. CLICK HERE to visit the ICBC website to obtain your driving record.

  2. Check off Personal driving record not Driver factor report

  3. You can send your abstract directly to the school by inputting the JLC school email address ([email protected]). Or you can have it emailed to you so that you can print a copy for us and for your records.

Volunteer Driver Form
If you are helping us out by driving students in your personal vehicle, the final piece of documentation we require is the volunteer driver form. Click on the link below to access the fillable PDF.
